Pixel 10 customers might not have to shell out much this year because Best Buy is rolling out one of the best launch promos for Google’s newest flagship, allowing the new Pixel 10 series for as little as $199 with trade-in and gift card offers.
The promo even exceeds Google's own pre-order offer and offers the customer the greater opportunity and buy-in value.
Trade-in promos in particular have become a standard way to lessen the price of a new smartphone, but Google's track record with them has been so-so at best. On the Google Store you can get as much as $760 in trade-ins, as well as store credit of as much as $350 when purchasing a Pixel 10 device.
Unfortunately, the store credit is only good for Google's products and accessories, so it does not extend very far. For example, Google has a $100 credit on the Pixel 10 standard, a $200 credit on both the Pro and Pro XL Pixel 10 devices, and a $350 credit on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
Retailers like Amazon are matching Google's trade-in prices but are throwing in gift cards that can be used just about anywhere. Best Buy has gone even above that.
Not only does it match Google’s trade-in credits and gift card offers, but it also allows the gift card to be used across its wide range of products.
With eligible trade-ins — including recent Pixel, Samsung Galaxy, and iPhone models — buyers can secure around $500 in trade-in value, bringing the Pixel 10’s starting price down to just $199.
