The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Monday announced revised timings for Ramadan — which is expected to begin from tomorrow (Tuesday, March 12).
During the month of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak 1445 A.H., the PSX will observe office hours from 9:00am to 3:00pM from Monday to Thursday, while on Friday the office hours will be from 9:00am to 2:00pm.
PSX said that the market pre-open session will be from 9:00am to 9:15pm from Monday to Friday. The bourse, in a notification issued today, said that the orders matching and confirmation period will be from, 9:15am to 9:17am throughout the five days of the week.
The post-close session will be from 2:00pm to 2:15pm from Monday to Thursday and from 1:00pm to 1:15pm on Friday. Whereas the trade rectification/modification time will be from 2:15pm to 2:45pm from Monday to Thursday and 1:15pm to 1:45pm on Friday.
“Above mentioned timings shall remain effective only during the month of Ramadan (1445 AH) and shall be restored back to standard timing, after the end of Holy Month of Ramadan unless notified otherwise,” the statement read.
