The Punjab government on Wednesday introduced free Wi-Fi in all of the province's girls' colleges on the orders of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

The programme is being carried out by the Punjab Safe Cities Authority to help students stay connected with their teachers and classmates, conduct online research, and access educational resources through the initiative.

The initiative has been embraced by teachers and students, who describe it as a useful step that will improve the efficiency and convenience of learning.

Many students have expressed gratitude to the Safe Cities Authority and chief minister for their efforts, saying that this shows the government's dedication to promoting female education and establishing equal chances for young women.

The goal of the Punjab Safe Cities Authority is to guarantee that all students have access to dependable, secure Wi-Fi services.
