Telegram has officially launched an update, bringing a redesigned interface for its Android and iOS apps, with new features for group management and bot developers.
The company said Telegram Android app has been redesigned to enhance responsiveness and efficiency, available in Pakistan, to provide users a better platform experience.
What's new in Telegram update?
As per Telegram, the most visible advancement in the Android update is a new bottom navigation bar that lets users switch quickly between Chats, Settings, Profile, and other sections of the platform.
Telegram has also upgraded media gallery and settings menu with an aim at increasing performance and responsiveness. Users can easily access the Settings > Power Saving menu to optimise performance and extend battery life.
Meanwhile, on iOS, Telegram unveiled redesigned media viewer, new preview panels for sticker and emoji packs, and updated context menus in user profiles and message selections.
For iPad users, the update adds a new keyboard shortcut to send messages using Command + Enter.
Telegram has also improved its group management system, so that if any group owner leaves a group, then ownership will automatically transfer to one of the group’s administrators after one week. Now, you can also combine collectible gifts into updated versions categorised as 'Uncommon', 'Rare', 'Epic', or 'Legendary'.
The company urged users to update Telegram app through their respective official app stores to get new features.
