The Punjab government has introduced the Chief Minister's Youth Program 2025, which will provide students with 20,000 motorbikes on easy, interest-free instalments.

The project will provide 19,000 petrol bikes and 1,000 electric bikes, with a government subsidy of Rs1 billion. This will help provide a down payment and cover the interest payments to help make the bikes affordable. The Bank of Punjab will oversee the financing and registration process for the program.

Chief Minister’s Youth Program 2025 eligibility

To be eligible, students must be at least 18 years old, enrolled in an HEC-recognised college or university, and hold a driver's license or learner's permit. The instalments will be structured with affordability in mind:

  • Male students (Petrol Bike): Rs11,676/month
  • Female students (Petrol Bike): Rs7,325/month
  • Electric Bike: Monthly cost expected to be below Rs10,000

To maintain transparency, applications above the quota will go to e-balloting; 50% of the bikes are reserved for female students, demonstrating the government's commitment to women’s empowerment and safe mobility.

Distribution will commence in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, and Bahawalpur. Applications filed so far are over 72,000. The last date to apply is July 20, 2025, through the official portal or branches of the Bank of Punjab.
