As the holy month of Ramadan continues, Realme, one of Pakistan’s leading smartphone manufacturers, has joined hands with delivery platform Foodpanda to roll out a food truck initiative to distribute free Iftari packages to people out on the streets.

Realme, with its initiative ‘Make it real’, aims to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people by providing them with Iftar, delivered to them by home chefs empowered through Foodpanda.

Commenting on the initiative, Realme Pakistan CEO Ethan Yin said: "Ramadan is a time for reflection, compassion, and unity. Through our partnership with Foodpanda, we are honored to contribute to the Ramadan celebrations of those in need. Our goal is to spread joy and positivity, bringing people together through the universal language of food."

Realme, in a statement issued on Thursday, highlighted that initiative is in line with the smartphone manufacturers corporate social responsibility — which also focuses on women empowerment as the Iftar will be prepared and delivered by home chefs, predominantly women.

"We are excited to collaborate with Realme on this noble initiative," said Muhammad Abu Bakar Siddiqui, Head of Enterprise at Foodpanda. "By combining our resources and expertise, we aim to make a meaningful impact on the lives of people during Ramadan. Together, we can create moments of joy and unity that will be cherished by all."

The campaign will feature a food truck adorned with Realme and Foodpanda branding, traveling to various locations across the city to distribute Iftar packages to those in need.
