Reddit's new AI tool translates even offensive comments in 35 languages

The current one is an epoch where everyone, irrespective of individuals, groups and tech companies, is willing to ensure that the internet becomes a place free from hate speech and the exchange of abusive remarks.

But doing away with the filial approach is a popular public forum Reddit, which is making a unique feature widely available.

Formerly restricted to select users in France, the feature is a machine translation tool and is releasing to Redditors in more than 35 countries across Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

Reddit's new translation tool break language barriers

Reddit is dominated by the English language and with the new feature is aiming to pound the language barrier on the the platform, especially in countries where English is not the mother language.

With the new AI translation tool active, Redditors can now translate the entire feeds, including posts and comments, into languages of their choice.

Reddit's new translation feature is at the time accessible in Brazil and Spain, and will potentially be rolled out in Germany, Italy, the Philippines, and countries throughout Latin America "in the coming weeks."

Users eager to try out new languages can use it across platforms, including Reddit's app, desktop version, and mobile web version. It should be noted that the tool will undertake page translations only in the language preset as your device's, OR browser's, primary language.
