
Sony, a Japan-based tech giant has just launched the PlayStation Portal Remote Player in India that will offer gamers with a new way to experience PS5 gaming.
The PlayStation Portal allows you to stream games from your PS5 console using your home Wi-Fi network, acting as a dedicated remote play device.

Sony PlayStation Portal's specifications
PlayStation Portal Remote Player is a purpose-built device that means gamers can turn it on, press a button to connect to a PS5 and start playing.
The Remote Player has an 8-inch LCD screen capable of 1080p resolution and 60fps gameplay, providing a high-fidelity visual experience.
While announcing the launch Sony stated, "Experience the incredible immersion of DualSense wireless controller features like haptic feedback and adaptive triggers in supported games”.
Moreover, the screen has an FHD resolution and 60Hz refresh rate, compatible with both PS5 and PS4 games, However, the Portal does not support VR headset-required games, titles that require peripheral gadgets, or PS Plus Premium streamed games.
The PlayStation Portal Remote Player can also play compatible games you have installed on your console without needing to play on a TV.
It is worth noting that your PS5 needs to be powered on or in Rest Mode to be paired with the Remote Player.

Sony PlayStation Portal Remote Player is priced at INR 18,990. The device will be available across major stores including Sony Centers, Amazon, Flipkart, and Blinkit starting today.
