Capcom has officially announced a significant crossover event between Monster Hunter Wilds and Street Fighter 6, launching May 28. This update will officially add well-loved Street Fighter characters Akuma, Cammy, and Chun-Li to the action of fighting and monster-hunting.
Monster Hunter Wilds, Capcom's recently released action RPG, is known for its boss fights and customisable gear. Players will be able to hunt monsters in style.

Following the teaser of the game's instalment update where rumours of a Street Fighter crossover began, the speculation continues with the recent announcements, and now it's beginning to stop with some solidified details.
Capcom has described Akuma as a free reward, while Cammy and Chun-Li are paid DLC options. All three characters will come with full hunter armour sets, layered gear, and Blanka-Chan, which is a cute variant of the character Blanka, which is Palico gear.
Additionally, the players will get stickers, gestures with combat features, and a themed pendant. These gestures include actual moves from the franchise, like Hadoken and Shoryuken, that will prove to be more than a gesture; they will actually register hits in the fights.
Capcom has gone all-in with this collaboration, merging Monster Hunter Wilds’ gritty gameplay with Street Fighter’s fast-paced combat style.
Akuma, for example, can release powerful hand-to-hand combos, influenced by in-game weapon and gear setup.
