Tecno Camon 30 5G is ready to receive an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered update after it launched earlier in India. The company confirmed that it will add Ella-GPT assistant which launched with the Phantom V Flip 5G.

Moreover, both the smartphones, the Tecno Camon 30 5G and the Camon 30 Premier 5G, already boasted two generative features — Ask AI and AI Generate.

Ella-GPT is an AI assistant featured by OpenAI’s GPT 3.5 and modified by ChatGPT. The AI assistant houses more than 70 languages and accepts voice as prompt input. The firm said that the AI assistant is skilled at handling users' regular tasks and providing personalised help to enhance user’s experience.

Moreover, the AI assistant was unveiled with the Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G last year. Besides Ella-GPT, the Tecno Camon 30 5G series supports two other AI features. AI Ask lets users draft messages and check pre-written text for grammatical errors and correct those mistakes.

AI Ask can be utilised to create content in various formats. In addition, it co-opts with the Google Chrome browser to provide generative features when browsing multiple websites. Moreover, the Camon 30 5G series has AI Generate support on the Notepad app which is utilised to create customised pictures from random strokes and outlines. The generated pictures are displayed in sketch format.

The Tecno Camon 30 5G sports a 6.78-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Apart from it, the Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G houses a 6.77-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Whereas, older models powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC powers the former, the latest 30 series smartphones are powered by Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chipset.

For optics setup, both devices feature a 50 MP main camera. Moreover, the standard model sports a 2 MP depth sensor, while the Premier model carries a 50 MP telephoto sensor with 3X optical zoom and a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera. On the front optics setup, both smartphones sport a 50 MP camera for selfies.
