Meta-owned social media platform, Threads is now making things simple for creators, brands, and others who want more professional tools to manage their presence on the app.

Instagram head Adam Mosseri announced new features coming to Threads, including a way to schedule posts and view more metrics within Insights.

In a post, Mosseri said that users would now be able to schedule posts on Threads and view the metrics for individual posts within the Insights dashboard. This offers a way for Threads users to track trends, including their views, number of followers and geographic demographics, number and type of interactions, and more, for a given period.

Meanwhile, the scheduler can be accessed from the three-dot menu on the composer. You’ll tap “Schedule,” then select a date and time, then “Schedule” again to confirm.

The scheduled posts will appear in your drafts folder, where you can edit or delete them before they go live.

Moreover, Mosseri stated that Threads is integrating a new feature, letting users “mark up” a post they’re resharing so they include their creative take.

However, he didn’t explain what that means or share an example, earlier findings from tech enthusiast Chris Messina indicate that Threads will add a new icon next to the buttons for adding photos, GIFs, voice, hashtags, and more that provide access to this feature.
