WhatsApp Web is reportedly working on a “Chat with us” feature, allowing users to swiftly contact the support team.

This new feature will be integrated into the Help section of the desktop variant of WhatsApp, replacing the existing Contact Us option. Through this feature, users will be able to access WhatsApp support more efficiently, according to WABetaInfo.

Upon initiating a conversation, users will get an automated message addressing their query and informing them that WhatsApp support will get back to them soon with an artificial intelligence (AI)-generated response.

In addition, users will also be presented with an option to escalate their issue and chat with a human representative.

The update is expected to significantly enhance the current WhatsApp support system, which currently requires users to fill in specific details and navigate through FAQ pages before receiving AI-generated responses. This feature aims to reduce response times and enhance the overall user experience.

According to WABetaInfo, this feature is currently available to a few testers on WhatsApp Web. However, the platform is planning a broader release in the near future.

Furthermore, Meta-owned WhatsApp is reportedly working on an advanced feature for Android devices. This new functionality will leverage AI technology to provide faster and more accurate responses to user queries, enhancing its support capabilities.
