Google Chrome revamps its ‘Listen To This Page' feature

Alphabet-owned Google has recently brought a significant modification to Chrome for Android users by adding an impressive feature — ‘Listen to this Page’, this upgrade features a user-friendly interface that reads aloud web pages for its users.

The listen to this page feature offers multiple voices and languages for crisp and enhanced audio that promises an enhanced user experience.

According to MSPowerUser, the tech giant will be expanding its ecosystem by developing a background option for the newly launched feature that the users will be able to access through a three-dotted menu icon.

The Read-Aloud Background Playback is coming, which would certainly bring immense ease to the users such as enabling the text-to-speech feature to work, when the browser is inactive.

However, the ‘Listen to this Page’ feature has been launched in Chrome version 125, which is capable of playing audio while the users switch tabs and lock their devices.

Additionally, it also possesses a mini-player feature for manipulating capability for play/pause, fast forward/rewind, and playback speed and it also supports multiple languages including Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, and more.
