Xpeng Aeroht secures 2,008 preorders for modular flyingcar at airshow China

At China’s 15th International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition in Zhuhai, the Xpeng Aeroht division secured a significant number of pre-orders for its modular flying car.

The company has received pre-orders for 2,008 units from various sectors, including transportation, tourism, real estate, and technology, marking it as the world's first and largest pre-order milestone in the flying car industry.

Xpeng Aeroht was founded in 2013 and is building electric vertical takeoff and landing vehicles. Reportedly, the company is developing a manufacturing base for flying cars in Guangzhou, which will have 10,000 units of production capacity annually.

From November 12 to 17, Xpeng Aeroht has been showcasing the world's first-ever flying car at the airshow. The company plans to start pre-sales by the end of 2024, with mass production and further developments scheduled for 2026.
