XPENG, China's electric vehicle (EV) giant, is gearing up to enter the Pakistani automobile market, marking another major step to rival with competitors through launching EVs under an affordable price range, along with advanced capabilities.

The company will initially launch the XPENG G6, a mid-size EV, built on the 800-volt SEPA 2.0 platform, which will give Pakistanis another level of driving, competing with other EV companies in the market.

The platform supports quick charging, letting the battery charge from 10% to 80% in about 20 minutes, which is much better than the competitor brands.

XPENG G6 features

In the international market, the XPENG G6 is offered with two battery options:

  • 66 kWh battery pack.
  • 87.5 kWh long-range battery pack.

The G6 delivers an estimated WLTP range between 435 and 570 kilometres, providing drivers with a unique driving experience. The company offers the G6 model in rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive variants.

The RWD variant accelerates from zero to 100 kilometres per hour in roughly 6.6 to 6.2 seconds, while the AWD variant does so in about four seconds.

The XPENG G6 comes with a five-seat cabin supported by a 2,890-millimetre wheelbase and 571 litres of cargo space.

The official XPENG G6 (Pakistani version) features are expected to be revealed soon. The price of the XPeng G6 Standard Range (international version) is $54,800, which is approximately Rs15,376,880 in Pakistan.
