42% of children in META region want to become bloggers: Kaspersky research

As new horizons of career paths are emerging with a gradual boom in the content industry across platforms, a whopping 42% chink of children surveyed from the Pakistan, Middle East, Turkiye, and Africa (META) region aspire to become bloggers in the future.

The discovery was shared by Kaspersky, an international cybersecurity company, in its latest research.

The report indicated the kids' intentions towards blogging while stating that 44% of them are already developing their own blogs or working on content for their future.

The latest Kaspersky research also revealed that 53% of the children surveyed in META region see blogging as their dream career.

Besides, 46% of young participants in the research consider video content creation delightful, 36% view blogging as a means to earn money effortlessly, while 32% are into it because they consider it trendy and cool.

Since the study featured kids, parental attitudes towards blogging careers varied greatly. Only 16% of parents surveyed expressed clear satisfaction for their children to pursue blogging as a career. For 44%, blogging is acceptable only when the child becomes an adult, while 25% of participating parents opposed the idea of a blogging future for their children.

The study underlined the young generation's aspiration to blogging and their parents' cautious approach towards this career path.
