Airblue has announced to operate extra flights between the UAE and Pakistan to help manage increased travel traffic before Eid ul Adha and to also provide additional flight options to passengers and lessen last-minute travel complications.
In an effort to reduce the demand on existing flights, Airblue plans to implement additional capacity on Monday and Wednesday between Dubai and Islamabad.
Airblue will operate three flights in one day on the most popular route. The flights are part of an initiative from Airblue that is hoped will help families get back to their loved ones before the holy observance.
Currently, Airblue airlines has a very strong operating schedule: 57 weekly flights between the UAE and Pakistan (39 flights from Dubai to four major Pakistani destinations, nine flights from Sharjah to Pakistan, and eight flights from Abu Dhabi to Pakistan).
Airblue's Regional Sales Manager Usman Muneer stated that the airline is doing its utmost to ensure easy travel during the festive period. "It's important to us that people who want to travel home for Eid can do so, and we believe these flights will help respond to the growing demands," he added.
Moreover, Airblue's leadership visited the UAE recently to meet with its travel industry's valued partners for the first time in over two years.
Airblue hosted an awards event in Dubai for top travel agents for their performance over the past two years that helped drive revenue and growth in business in the UAE, whilst establishing relationships through partnership.
