Apple to summarise user reviews on App Store
Citing an unlisted App Store page, 9to5Mac reported that the tech giant has developed a new feature that will utilise user reviews available on the App Store to generate AI-powered summaries.
With these AI-generated summaries, Apple aims to provide users with a clear picture of an app's reviews, making it easier to decide whether to install a particular application or not.
Review summaries will likely be shown alongside app descriptions and screenshots when a user views the main page of any App Store application.
These AI-generated summaries will highlight the most common customer feedback regarding each app. The summaries will be updated each time new reviews are added. However, developers will have the option to report any summary they consider to be inaccurate.
Notably, these app review summaries will only be available in select regions.
