Apple has officially announced the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2025, which will be held between June 9 and June 13. The conference will be conducted online and is free to all developers, with a special in-person gathering at Apple Park on June 9.

WWDC is Apple's largest yearly event when it announces significant software updates. Apple is set to announce iOS 19, iPadOS 19, macOS 16, watchOS 12, tvOS 19, and visionOS 3. iOS 19 is reported to be one of the most radical software updates in Apple's history, with a new design for icons, menus, and apps that will render device navigation more fluid.

Apple’s Vice President of Worldwide Developer Relations, Susan Prescott, expressed excitement about the event, saying, “We can’t wait to share the latest tools and technologies that will empower developers.”

The WWDC 2025 format is the same as in previous years, with the key sessions virtual and free to developers everywhere. Apple has also made it known that there will be limited in-person attendance at Apple Park, with information on how to apply posted on the WWDC 2025 website.
