In a bid to transform the way iCloud users invite their friends and family to events, tech giant Apple is reportedly releasing a new feature code-named Confetti.

Citing Mark Gurman, a famous Bloomberg correspondent known for his accurate predictions, TechCrunch reported that the iPhone maker is equipping iCloud users with a unique way to invite others to parties, meetings, and other events.

While insights into the feature's functionality were not disclosed, it was learned that Confetti is likely to make it live by the end of this week.

The Bloomberg tech reporter also pointed to Confetti as a part of a bigger overhaul of Apple's Calendar app, which is said to only be compatible with Apple's recently rolled out iOS 18.3, the latest software update for iPhones.

The new version of the iOS 18 update was released on January 27 (Monday), whose biggest tweak fell under the AI department, letting iPhone users opt in and out of Apple Intelligence.
