WhatsApp has officially launched a slew of new features to make your chats with family, laughs with friends, the photos and videos you couldn't stop sharing even easier than ever.
Meta-owned instant messaging platform said whether it is about staying organised, juggling work and personal, or getting more out of every chat, WhatsApp update brings new ways to enhance your messaging experience. Gadinsider has got all the features mentioned below:
Free up space: If your chat with anyone fill up, than you need to find and delete large files directly within any chat, to clear what you don't need without wiping the entire conversation. You need to tap the chat name and select 'Manage Storage'. You can select to clear just media files when clearing a chat – keeping the chat history intact.
Cross-platform chat transfer: WhatsApp's chat transfer feature supports moving the chat history from iOS to Android, in addition to within the same platform. As you know, changing phones shouldn't be complicated, you just need a couple taps, the conversations, photos, and videos easily get transferred.
Two accounts, one phone: iOS users are now allowed to have two WhatsApp accounts logged in at the same time, just like on Android. Now, you don't need two phones to keep work and personal separate.
New stickers: Whenever you're chatting with family or friends, stickers are one of the important things need, which bring bigger, bolder expressions to the conversations. WhatsApp will make it easier to use them by suggesting them as one types emojis. With just a tap, users can swap an emoji for a sticker that captures exactly how they are feeling.
Photo touch-ups with Meta AI: WhatsApp users can now easily use Meta AI to touch up photos directly in their chat before sending, making it easy to remove something distracting, swap in a new background, or apply a fun style.
AI Writing Help: In your WhatsApp chats, 'Writing Help' feature can now draft a suggested response based on the conversation, so you can get the message just right – all while keeping the chats completely private.
