Malaysia’s renowned car company Proton unveiled its first-ever electric vehicle (EV), Proton e.MAS 7, on Monday at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre in Kuala Lumpur.
The new Proton e.MAS 7 underscores the company’s commitment to innovation. The e.MAS 7 EV basic model will be available for MYR 109,800 ($24,674), while the premium model is expected to be priced at MYR 123,800.

Mercedes-Benz is set to launch its flagship electric SUV based on the iconic G-Class segment (G 580) in India on January 9, 2025, promoting sustainability.
The G-Class electric SUV is claimed to deliver exceptional performance, featuring a powerful 116 kWh underfloor battery pack that can travel up to 473 km on a single charge. The G-Class SUV is likely to be priced at INR 30 million.
Honda Prelude Hybrid announced

Yamaha Nmax 125 Tech Max unveiled
Yamaha has unveiled its premium 125cc maxi-scooter, the Nmax 125 Tech Max, in global markets with advanced features, bold styling, and modern technology.
The Yamaha Nmax 125 Tech Max is equipped with an all-LED lighting and a 4.2-inch TFT display.
The Nmax 125 Tech Max is also powered by a 125cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 12bhp and 11.2Nm of torque.
Honda 0 Series prototype models to debut in January 2025
Honda is set to revolutionise the EV market with the debut of its two prototype models from “Honda 0 Series” at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025, scheduled to take place from January 7 to 10 in Las Vegas, US.
According to the company, the two Honda 0 Series models, including the Saloon and the Space Hub, will be available in the global market from 2026.
