Bing’s AI recently brought a huge change to the chatbot’s search experience. It has now put AI-generated search results at the front and centre while placing the ordinary, genuine ones on the side.

Microsoft, the American tech giant, previously shared its latest layout, depicting how it would look with a query asking “What is a spaghetti western?”.

Moreover, the AI chatbot interpreted it as a “subgenre of Western films produced by Italian filmmakers,” with major features of the genre =

However, this feature of Bing AI hasn't been rolled out yet, but the news has raised people’s concern over it, as cutting off search descriptions after two lines would be inconvenient, bringing plenty of difficulties for users to browse via the first page of actual results.

The Alphabet-owned Google has also introduced a similar feature called AI Overviews, which provides general summaries but it failed to provide accurate results for particular queries.

But, Bing AI’s latest feature excels in generalised summaries, alongside addressing queries about spaghetti westerns.

There would also be brief elaborations regarding the genre’s history as well as origins after scrolling past the actual answers on the results page. Additionally, it also delved into details with charts pertaining to the best movies, shows, music, and more.

Microsoft also provides a list of all the sources below every section, whereas, all the links that you would select, will automatically pop up in a single column, placed over the right side of the screen.

Moreover, according to Microsoft, this new experience is a great source to combine Bing AI's search along with the larger and smaller language models.

“It understands the search query, reviews millions of sources of information, dynamically matches the content, and generates search results in a new AI-generated layout to fulfil the intent of the user’s query more effectively,” added the company.
