Cloudflare on Friday faced a global outage, including in Pakistan, causing widespread disruptions and triggering downtime across several major platforms.
The outage affected multiple major sites where many users said they were experiencing issues accessing key functions or page loading.
An official statement from Cloudflare on what caused the outage has not been released yet, and the number of affected services is still growing as reports keep surfacing from different regions.
Cloudflare recognised the outage not long after the issues became apparent. "Cloudflare is investigating issues with Cloudflare dashboard and related APIs," the company stated in an official status update.
Many users experienced 500 Internal Server Errors, failed requests, or broken integrations while attempting to access online platforms due to glitches affecting major parts of its network.
Cloudflare down globally
The Cloudflare outage seems, for the most part, to have been resolved, although several services showed temporary instability during the incident.
Cloudflare, a major provider of web infrastructure and cybersecurity services globally, said its portal had been experiencing technical difficulties.
According to the corporation, users might have encountered errors when trying to access websites dependent on its network.
The outage sparked frustration the world over as essential services slowed or stopped working altogether.
Although Cloudflare hasn't issued a detailed explanation for the disruption, according to the company's technical team, systems are continually being monitored to ensure full restoration.
