Decart’s AI Oasis world model has created a 20fps framerate coupled with 360p resolution for Minecraft, which is better than any modern port Minecraft and more fitting framerate and resolution then the Nintendo settings.
Decart’s AI model for Minecraft has turned complex gameplay into an unnerving game, which lacks the permanency of the object. If a player dig straight down, it will drop them back on the ground with no environmental fixtures. Provided that, why would gamers play a survival RPG game lacking such fundamental details?

Advancement in technology is great for development purposes, but using the open-source of the game to clone it and distribute its code is actually ripping off in the name of training AI.

Oasis developed the Minecraft clone in collaboration with Etched with the help of the open-source Minecraft dataset.
It is believed that this approach is taking fun out of the games, as it isn’t even coherent and especially this kind of technology deployment can not even function without real games or ideas existing in the first place. AI-generated assets can only create or develop things that already exist, hence lacking originality.
