The landscape of gaming was startled by the surprise debut of the new Disney RPG earlier this week.
Released as a free mobile game, Disney Pixel RPG stands true to its name: a turn-taking RPG with 8-bit/16-bit-inspired art featuring various iconic Disney characters.
The title is free to play, and while it for sure involves all the nuances of an RPG with gachapon machine-style mechanics, it is set apart to let you get through it without getting enticed to spend much money to be rewarded with in-game items.

New Disney Pixel RPG mobile game
As the discontinuation of the RPG Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius came to light quite recently by Square Enix, GungHo Online Entertainment and Disney appear to be playing the ace to make the most of the release of Disney Pixel RPG.
With eager onlookers rummaging through every nook and corner of the internet to get their hands on a similarly intriguing title, Disney Pixel RPG could serve as a great alternative.
The fusion of several fictional Disney video game worlds with “bug pixels” and creatures dubbed Mimics is what makes up the Disney Pixel RPG. Other encounters reigning in the game include friendly characters called the Repixies that summon players to assist in saving the gaming worlds.
To make it happen, players then summon and battle Disney characters from across the affected game worlds and explore the depths of the bug pixel mystery.
