Dragon Ball Super, a globally renowned Japanese manga and anime series, is all ready to resume its thrilling story with a new arc about the mighty bad guy, Black Frieza.

The series, famous for its intense battles and developing heroes such as Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan, had been on hiatus since the passing of creator Akira Toriyama.

However,  the fans are waiting for the return of the ongoing story, promising intense action and new power levels.

What to expect from Dragon Ball Super?

The latest instalment, Chapter 104 entitled "The Birth of Saiyaman X", was published on February 20, 2025. But it was a brief prequel about Trunks and Goten and their adventures as local heroes.

Although it provided readers with a light-hearted glimpse of their escapades, the real thrill is in what's to come, the Black Frieza arc. This sequel will continue where the Granolah arc left off and is set to be the most exciting one so far.

Black Frieza stunned fans with a dramatic return toward the end of the Granolah arc by defeating a key antagonist, Gas, in a single move. What stunned fans even more was how he defeated Goku and Vegeta at their best with a single punch.

His new form came about after ten long years of rigorous training in a Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

This next arc might prove to be the Z-Fighters' toughest test yet, with Gohan Beast, Orange Piccolo, and Broly joining the battle. Dragon Ball Super's Black Frieza arc promises to rewrite everything about power in the franchise.
