Elden Ring Nightreign is a co-op spin-off to 2022's award-winning action RPG Elden Ring and now fans are ready to jump into the fun with the launch trailer, and not just because of the gameplay.

The trailer features Evanescence's iconic 2000s song Bring Me to Life, giving a nostalgic, high-energy undertone during the intense boss battles in the trailer.

The launch date for Nightreign is May 30, 2025. A three-player co-op multiplayer RPG, or a solo player experience, players will encounter strong enemies in a new version of Limgrave titled Limveld.

This new experience will be procedurally generated, no two playthroughs should feel the same. Built as a multiplayer experience, Nightreign is not abandoning the struggle of soulslike games but rather giving fans to play together, a longstanding fan wish.

The trailer shows the drama of battle energised by the emotional melodies in Bring Me to Life and it immediately grabbed the attention of fans, many who grew up on Evanescence.

One commenter joked that someone on the marketing team must have grown up making anime music videos. Others simply called the trailer “legendary.”

FromSoftware, the developer behind the series, said in a statement: “When your allies have fallen and all seems lost, dig deep down inside and summon the strength of early 2000’s alternative metal. WAKE ME UP.”
