TopSpin 2K25 has received major permanent price cuts across all platforms. Developed by Hangar 13, TopSpin 2K25 is a revival of 2K’s long-dormant tennis franchise, which returned in April 2024 after more than 13 years.

The game combines arcade-style tennis action with simulation elements, offering fans a rich and fast-paced tennis experience.

TopSpin 2K25 new price updates

The price drop for TopSpin 2K25 comes just more than a year after its launch.

  • The base edition, which was formerly retailed at $59.99, now permanently has a price of only $19.99.
  • The Deluxe Edition received the largest discount. Its price fell from $99.99 to $29.99, a 70% price drop.
  • The Grand Slam Edition also received a big price cut from $119.99 to $39.99, a price drop of 66.7%.

Initially, the 2K25 price drop was made available during Steam's Zombies vs Vampires Fest (which happened at the end of May 2025), which temporarily made the game even cheaper than what it is now.

However, by mid-June 2025, 2K made the TopSpin 2K25 discount permanent, across both PC & consoles (that is, Steam, PlayStation Store, and Xbox Store).

Though 2K have not made an official statement about any sales (or a discount), permanent price decreases are nothing new in the 2K catalogue. However, because TopSpin 2K25 is not an annual franchise like the NBA 2K or WWE 2K, some fans were surprised.

Since its launch, TopSpin 2K25 has been positively reviewed. It has a "Strong" rating (with an average score of 75 on OpenCritic). However, reviews from players have been mixed. However, many have been very critical of what they perceive to be a grindy progression, limited-to-no stamina, and what was deemed a battle pass system.
