Sony will be announcing the PlayStation Plus (PS Plus) free games for July 2025 next week, and the community is buzzing with anticipation.
In June, fans received Grand Theft Auto 3: Definitive Edition and Destiny 2: The Final Shape and are looking forward to more great games.
PS Plus July 2025 lineup
There are definitely some exciting names that have made it to this month's PS Plus wish list; Resident Evil Village is certainly one of those names, along with Atomic Heart.
Resident Evil Village is a first-person survival horror from Capcom. It carries on the story of Ethan Winters, who is trying to find his kidnapped daughter in a mysterious and terrifying village.
Since Resident Evil Requiem was just revealed at Summer Game Fest, it would seem fitting to include Village in PS Plus, helping to get players braced for the next game.
Atomic Heart is another community vote. This action RPG was developed by Mundfish. This game is based in an alternate reality, Soviet Union, where players have to battle mutant machines and odd creatures.
With a sequel and spin-off MMO, The Cube, being teased, this might be just the perfect time for Atomic Heart to reach an even greater audience through PS Plus.
Another interesting pick is Pacific Drive, a unique survival driving game where players travel through a dangerous zone in a station wagon. Its quirky gameplay and eerie setting made it a hidden gem when it launched in early 2024.
Other games fans hope to see include Final Fantasy 16, Metal Gear Solid Collection, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Rise of the Ronin, and Lies of P.
