In a bid to expand its footprint by offering its space-controlled internet services, Elon Musk is going to launch his Starlink satellite in Indonesia soon in the near future.

As per a Reuters report, Minister Luhut Pandjaitan claimed that Musk would launch Starlink internet service on the holiday island of Bali in the company of Indonesian leader.

The expansion of Starlink's network to Indonesia was already hinted at by Indonesian officials when they previously announced Musk's possible visit to the country to observe multiple events and investment plans pertaining to his electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing firm Tesla, .

Although Must has conducted various video-based conferences in Indonesia in the past, the impending visit would mark his first-ever actual presence in the country.

The multi-billionaire tech tycoon is also set to address World Water Forum in Bali, according an official statement released by Minister Lahut.

Moreover, according to the Budi Arie Setiadi, the Communications Minister of Indonesia, it was decided that the satellite launch would be executed from a clinic in Denpasar, Bali's capital, where Musk would wrap up an accord aimed at ensuring unhindered availability of internet connectivity for the healthcare sector.

Starlink has recently been granted a permit to commercially provide its internet services in Indonesia, indicating advancement in the business endeavor.

Additionally, Starlink plans to collaborate with local network access providers, and Indonesia expects the company to offer internet services to its rural areas.
