It would be considered uncommon to be hit with euphoria over the announcement of a new Xbox Game Pass game, but what's normal is being overwhelmed over the same announcement for a Day One release on Xbox Game Pass.

The case mentioned above has become that of an already-announced game Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, which has emerged on the scene in a cinematic trailer, confirming that the open-world action RPG title will soon be launched on Xbox Game Pass.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn was developed by A44, an inventive group of game makers behind the immensely cherished open-world action RPG Ashen.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn on Day One on Xbox Game Pass

Once launched on Xbox Game Pass, the developers will let players embrace the role of Nor, a character whose attacking prowess is based on a mix of guns and magic. The character will also be accompanied by an animal which will assist it in ways never seen.

Unlike Ashen, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, given its announcement trailer, seems to be resembling From Software's RPGs, while doing away with cel-shading to strike a good deal of presentation.

Another property whose revival is hinted at in the trailer is the Souls-like gameplay and atmosphere.

On which platforms Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn will release

Although Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn has been confirmed to launch on Day One on Xbox Game Pass, it won't be restricted to Xbox platforms, as A44 confirmed that Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn will launch on PC, PS4, and PS5, in addition to Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.

Moreover, chances are that Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn would be exclusive to the Epic Games Store, whereas Steam has already confirmed that it will support it.
