Fortnite has released its OG Season 3 update, rolling out popular features from 2017. The update includes the return of Lucky Landing, the 50v50 mode, and classic weapons, making the game nostalgic for players.
The Fortnite OG update has also generated buzz among fans with rumours of a crossover with The Walking Dead. Data miners have discovered hints of Negan's Bat and a new villain skin, indicating a potential collaboration in the future.
Although Epic Games has not officially announced anything, fans are looking forward to these new features.
Fortnite OG Season 3 update
The OG 50v50 limited-time mode is now playable for players, where two 50-player teams fight to emerge victorious. This was initially rolled out in Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 3 and has since been one of the most asked-for features.
Moreover, a well-liked POI (Point of Interest) in the original game, Lucky Landing, is returning, as is an enigmatic meteor hovering above in the sky that will close in over time.
The Fortnite OG Season 3 patch also features some of the iconic weapons, such as the Guided Missile, Hand Cannon, Hunting Rifle, and Heavy Shotgun. These weapons, along with the Port-A-Fort and Clingers, contribute to the nostalgic gameplay feel.
Furthermore, there is also a new OG Battle Pass that offers cosmetic items based on the old skins like Power Chord, Raven, and Rex. Up to 45 tiers of rewards can be unlocked by players, with the paid version costing 1,000 V-Bucks.
