Months following the immense hype around it and its quick ascent to popularity, the Galaxy S25 Edge has finally been launched as Samsung's slimmest-ever flagship smartphone, in a bid to lure tech-savvy young consumers.
The tech giant has long touted the device as a fusion of portability, coupled with Samsung's enhanced suite of AI features, proving an outstanding move in the premium smartphone race.

Galaxy S25 Edge specs, features and price
The all-new Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge comes with a 6.7-inch screen and a sleek 5.8mm profile. It's larger than the standard Galaxy S25 but still slightly heavier, according to Reuters.
Starting from $1,099, the latest Galaxy S25 variant will arrive in South Korea on May 23 and the US on 30 May 30, before rolling out to 30 more countries, including China and Europe.
Samsung claimed that its slimmest smartphone has been designed for users in their 20s and 30s, which incorporates the company's latest AI tools, including multimodal AI enabling real-time interaction through the camera, voice, and visual input.
“Users wanted something slimmer and easier to carry without sacrificing performance,” the company explained.
“We managed to engineer a thinner vapour chamber... We’re confident the S25 Edge can be used without concerns about overheating,” said Samsung Executive Vice President Moon Sung-hoon while addressing concerns about overheating.
Analysts are of the view that Galaxy S25 Edge's early release is Samsung’s deliberate move to outpace Apple, which is expected to launch a thinner iPhone 17 model later this year.
