After months of rumour, Samsung has officially confirmed that Galaxy Unpacked 2026 is scheduled for later February, with the Galaxy S26 series and several new software advancements.
Taking to Instagram, Samsung said: "Get ready for a mobile experience designed to remove friction from the things you do every day. The new Galaxy S series is coming – built to simplify everyday interactions, inspire confidence and make Galaxy AI feel seamlessly integrated from the moment it’s in hand."
When is Galaxy Unpacked 2026?
Samsung further added: "On February 25, 2026, Samsung Electronics will host Galaxy Unpacked in San Francisco. Join us as we unveil Samsung’s newest Galaxy innovations – marking a new phase in the era of AI as intelligence becomes truly personal and adaptive."
What to expect from Galaxy Unpacked 2026?
According to rumours, Samsung is highly anticipated to launch its Galaxy S26 series in the event, and it's primary focus will be on software advancements rather than major hardware changes.
As per rumours, the Galaxy S26 series, including Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra, will get some advancements. The standard S26 variant will pack a slightly larger battery, increasing from 4000mAh to 4300mAh.
All three models might come with cases for wireless charging capabilities rather than built-in Qi2 magnets. The Galaxy S26's camera hardware seems to have remained the same as last year, although the main and 5x telephoto lenses may boast faster apertures.

According to Samsung, Galaxy Unpacked February 2026 will be streamed live on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom, and Samsung’s YouTube channel beginning at 10am PT, 1pm EST, 6pm GMT and 7pm CET.
