Gamma PlayStation emulator for iOS: Enhanced Audio, cheats and more got updated

Gamma, the popular PlayStation one emulator for iPhone and iPad, recently received a series of exciting updates, offering a more fantastic gaming experience.

However, these new updates, Gamma is now an even more robust and feature-rich emulator, allowing gamers to enjoy their favourite PS1 games on the go.

What's new in Gamma?

The latest update introduces Enhanced Audio that aims to offer more improved sound effects in games. In the recent upgrades in Gamma, developer has introduced reverb and interpolation effects that make audio more immersive for the players.

Additionally, Gamma now supports the PlayStation Multitap adapter that allows up to four players to play together in the certain games.

Moreover, the updates have also added disc swapping that would allow the players to switch between discs without returning towards the main menu.

More interestingly, cheats are now also supported by providing gamers the freedom to modify or skip through their games as they please.

The updates don’t stop here, along with all these upgrades new controller skins and beautiful game library cover art have also been added that aims to offer an enhanced experience.

What's next for Gamma?

Gamma is available for free on the App Store for iPhone and iPad models running iOS 15 or later. While it doesn't include any games, users would be able to source their own Random Access Memory (ROMs). The app does include ads, but these can be removed with a one-time purchase of Gamma Pro for $4.99.
