Shiny Tynama will debut at this Sunday’s Tynama Community Day event. As a custom, there’s a high chance of shiny Tynama spawning: around one in 25.

This is the most opportune moment to be on the lookout for Tynama. Otherwise, scavenging for its shiny variant outside of the event can be a rather tedious task, especially for those not under optimal conditions.

Luckily there are ways to increase the possibility of Tynama spawning and find its shiny variant.

Capturing Shiny Tynama

Tynama is a pure-electric Pokemon, thanks to Pokemon Go’s weather mechanic, there’s the likelihood of getting a glimpse during rainy weather, this’ll also ensure stronger spawns, meaning a Tynama with stronger stats.

Using incense will increase the spawn rate of wild Pokemons around the player’s avatar, these attach to the player and lend their powers for a listed duration, they can be purchased at Pokestops or in-app stores.

Lure Modules are like incense but instead of attaching to the player, they associate with Pokestops or gyms, increasing wild Pokemon spawns in the area.

These spawns won’t be exclusive to the player, they’ll be accessible to all players present in the area, making it a free-for-all.

This event is the best time to get a hold of Tynama, it’ll also feature its typical shiny rates boost as well s a new signature move for Elektross: an electric-type charged attack.
