Young tech enthusiasts in Pakistan should brace to gain global recognition for free, as new scholarships have been launched by InnoVista in collaboration with TechValley and Google.
The programme offers Google Career Certificate Scholarships in data analytics, IT support, cybersecurity, digital marketing, UX design and more, helping participants develop skills that are in high demand and kick off their careers by securing roles in a variety of fields.
The biggest leverage of the programme is that it allows students to study at their own pace and convenience. The training will be provided via the online learning platform Coursera.
Participants will earn a certificate directly from Google after successful completion of the course. The certificate is reportedly valued at up to $1,000.

Applications for Google Career Certificate Scholarships are open til May 30 2025. Interested individuals can apply through the official website.
The qualification criteria of these Google scholarships are that applicants must be 18 years or older and have a valid CNIC. The programme also encourages significant participation from women, aiming for a 40% female enrolment.
This scholarship is said to be a part of a broader effort to equip Pakistan's youth with digital skills and, with tech jobs on the rise worldwide, enable them to be employed both locally and globally.
