Google Photos, an application developed by Google to save images and videos with the ability to back up on the cloud, allows users to analyse photos and identify different visual features of objects and people.
This functionality of facial and object identification, allows users to search photos of a specific person/object within the folder by typing the name of the subject or person on the search bar.
Recently, Google has made some changes to the locked folder of the app to enhance its functionality. The change under discussion is that of location, meaning that the locked folder would now appear in a different position than it is currently found.

However, it should be noted that the amendment would only be seen on the Android and iOS versions of the Google-owned images platform.
While this secured folder was present within sub-sections of the app, now is easily accessible from the Library tab of Google Photos located alongside Favourites, Trash and Archives folders. Prior to this update, this locked folder would have to be navigated through the Utilities tab.
Alongside this update, a few other options have also been moved within the application and are easily accessible through the "Plus" button present on the toolbar.
