
Search giant Google has announced the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, with a focus on AI for an enhanced and personalised experience. These smartphones come equipped with unique features, all driven by the advanced Google Tensor G3.
Moreover, users can expect seven years of continuous software updates, encompassing Android OS enhancements, and security updates.
Google Pixel 8 colours options
Google has introduced a new Mint colour option for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, making it the fourth colour variant for both smartphones. This comes after the initial release of Hazel, Obsidian, Rose, Bay, and Porcelain colour options in October 2023.

The Mint colour is available only in the 128GB storage variant for both models, with higher storage variants retaining the original colour choices. In India, the Mint colour is exclusive to the vanilla Pixel 8 and can be purchased through Flipkart.
The introduction of the Mint colour option was teased by Google through social media handles, with a binary code translating to "fresh year, fresh drop."
It's noteworthy that the Mint colour is not available for higher storage variants and is priced the same as other colour variants. Google has also released a Mint silicone case for both Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.
Google Pixel 8 prices
According to Gadgets360, the Pixel 8 is priced starting at INR 75,999, featuring 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage.
Meanwhile, the Pixel 8 Pro starts at INR 1,06,999 with 12GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage. The Mint colour option is exclusively available on the Google Store and Google Fi in the US.

In terms of specifications, the Pixel 8 has a 6.2-inch full-HD+ OLED panel, powered by the 4nm Google Tensor G3 SoC. It includes a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultra wide-angle camera.

Google Pixel 8 Pro specifications
The Pixel 8 Pro features a 6.7-inch Quad-HD OLED display, also running on the Google Tensor G3 chipset. Its camera setup includes a 50MP primary camera, a 48MP telephoto lens, and another 48MP ultrawide camera.
Both models have received positive attention, with the Pixel 8 series quickly becoming popular and breaking records on Steam.
