Xiaomi has officially announced the launch of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in China, followed by a global debut at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona later this month. Ahead of its unveiling, the company has provided details regarding the design, colour options, and some key camera features of the device.
According to Gadgets360, the company confirmed in a Weibo post that Xiaomi will unveil the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in China on February 22 at 7pm local time (4:30pm IST). Additionally, an event page for the launch is now live on the Xiaomi China website. Furthermore, the phone is set to make its global debut alongside the base Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro models at the MWC 2024 on February 25.
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has confirmed in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be available in Black and White colour variants. The design showcased in the images shared by Jun reveals a prominent, raised circular camera module on the faux-leather back panel, housing the four rear camera sensors.
Regarding its camera setup, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will feature a 1-inch 50-megapixel LYT900 sensor with an f/1.63 aperture and "a new Leica Summilux optical lens." Additionally, it will include two telephoto cameras with 50-megapixel IMX858 sensors, offering focal lengths of 75mm and 120mm, paired with apertures of f/1.8 and f/2.5, respectively. The fourth rear camera is expected to be an ultra-wide-angle shooter.

Previous leaks have indicated that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, like the other models in the Xiaomi 14 series, will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and will run on Android 14-based HyperOS. It is anticipated to feature a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED display and a 5,180mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Rumours regarding its pricing suggest that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra may start at EUR 1,499 (approximately INR 1,33,600) for the 16GB + 512GB variant, with other configurations possibly including 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 1TB options.
