Huawei Pocket 2 is set to hit the Chinese market soon. While the company has announced the launch date of the foldable smartphone, details about its features remain undisclosed.
The upcoming handset is anticipated to succeed the Huawei Pocket S, which made its debut in China back in November 2022. It is expected that the new flip foldable device will bring several upgrades over its predecessor. Recent leaks have suggested the colour options and finishes for the Huawei Pocket 2.
According to Gadgets360, Huawei has confirmed in a post on Weibo that the Huawei Pocket 2 will be officially launched on February 22 at 2:30pm local time (midnight IST).
Although the teaser does not provide a direct glimpse of the phone's design, it suggests the presence of two circular modules, similar to the design seen in the older Huawei Pocket S and Huawei P50 Pocket. It is speculated that one of these circular units will house the rear cameras, while the other may serve as the outer display.
The hint revealed that the rear panel design aligns with earlier leaks, which suggest that the Huawei Pocket 2 will be available in black, purple, and white colour options. The white variant is expected to feature a marble-like pattern, while the purple variant may sport a faux leather finish. The phone is anticipated to come equipped with triple rear camera units, a Kirin 9000s SoC, and a larger battery compared to its predecessor.

The Huawei Pocket S, featuring a 6.9-inch 120Hz OLED primary screen and an outer 1.04-inch circular OLED display, came with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 778G SoC, a 4,000mAh battery supporting 40W wired charging, and HarmonyOS 3 out of the box.
Its dual rear camera setup comprised a 40-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel sensor with an ultrawide angle lens, while the front camera boasted a 10.7-megapixel sensor.

The Huawei Pocket S is available in Frost Silver, Ice Crystal Blue, Mint Green, Obsidian Black, Primrose Gold, and Sakura Pink colour options.
Huawei Pocket S price
The Huawei Pocket S was priced at CNY 5,988 (roughly INR 67,900) for the 8GB + 128GB variant upon its launch in China. Additionally, it was offered in 8GB + 256GB and 8GB + 512GB configurations, priced at CNY 6,488 (roughly INR 73,600) and CNY 7,488 (roughly INR 84,900), respectively.
