
Google has recently launched its latest Pixel 9 series at Made by Google 2024 event on August 13, which includes the base Pixel 9, the Pixel 9 Pro, and its big brother, the Pixel 9 Pro XL. They come with promising Operating Systems (OS) and security updates.
How many software updates will Google Pixel 9 get?
Google is keen on software updates, the devices from the Pixel 9 series will be assured to run the latest Android above Android 14.
Even if the phones fail to run advanced features that could be rolled out, they will continue to be eligible for security updates; this means the device runs smoothly and safely. This extended period of support enables one to benefit from new features and improvements.
Pixel 9 series features
The difference between the two models, the Pixel 9 Pro and the Pixel 9 Pro XL is that the Pro is 6.3 inches, and the Pro XL is 6.8 inches.
The Pixel 9 Pro XL is slightly more efficient and charges faster. And last, but not least, the entry-level Pixel 9 offers the same premium perks as the other two siblings, minus the telephoto camera and the front cam's lower resolution.

However, all three do share a common point of similar updates and improvements. The trio of phones of the Google Pixel 9 series is said to be equipped with the Google Tensor G4 processor and infused with artificial intelligence (AI) features, including Pixel Studio, Pixel Screenshots, and Add Me.
The phones also come along with Google Gemini features like Gemini Live for conversational chats. These features enhance the user experience, giving the Pixel 9 series devices an edge.
