
Over a month following Google's event titled "Agay Barho: A Google for Pakistan Event" was held in Islamabad, Pakistan, Google indulged in talks with the Pakistan to reiterate its unwavering support and assistance in improvements in the digital landscape of the country.
The discussion was conducted in a meeting took place on Saturday as Karan Bhatia, vice president and global head of government affairs and public policy of Google, called Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb.
During the meeting, the Google representative briefed Pakistan's finance minister about the projects it recently kicked off in the country and Google's plans to expedite investments and economic contributions in Pakistan.

Besides assuring Aurangzeb of the tech giant's backing, the Google topshot also expressed concerns pertaining to regulatory, connectivity and financial issues the country has been reeling with for the past many years.
Businesses in Pakistan last year generated a revenue of Rs3.9 trillion and created 864,600 jobs with the help of Google's backed services.
Pakistan's exports surged to a great degree, bringing in 35% of the entire export portfolio of the country, according to a report published by Access Partnership.
