Long after causing a buzz in the ever-evolving realm of Grand Theft Auto (GTA) and its enthusiasts, the dearly-awaited GTA 6 has finally hit the wishlist on the PlayStation Store.

GTA 6's addition to the Play Store marks a notably impressive stride towards its full-fledged launch, and follows the rollout of the game’s second trailer, including new key art, screenshots, and the official logo.

When will GTA 6 launch?

Although GTA 6 pre-orders have not gone live so far, the listing confirms that the game will be released at 4:00am (UTC) on 26 May 2026, according to The Express Tribune.

Is GTA 6 available on Xbox wishlist?

At the moment, GTA 6 is only available to wishlist across PlayStation platforms, and has not been offered for Xbox listing, at least until the time of writing.

Enthusiasts must bear in mind that the developer has not provided any schedule as for when Xbox users will be able to access a similar option.

It's surprising that the absence of GTA 6 pre-orders reflects Rockstar Games' previous GTA launches, whose account is rooted in the groundbreaking debut of GTA V, whose pre-orders came on the heels of its second trailer.

Although GTA 6's launch, confirmed under the latest PlayStation Store listing, has been delayed over a year, the PS Store listing gives GTA freaks a closer look at the final-stage development ongoing in the game.
