As artificial intelligence (AI) models have been taking on different forms over time to be integrated into different devices, now is the time of Google Gemini Live.

Although the live version of Google's proprietary AI chatbot has not made it to Android Auto, Android Authority made a workaround to get an idea of how Gemini Live will work with Android Auto in cars.

During testing, the publication noted that a single tap on the mic icon was required to invoke Gemini to get it going with live interaction.

The Android APK preview also allowed a sneak peek at the kind of user interface Google is developing to bring Gemini Live to car dashboards.

Gemini Live for live interactions functioned as normal as it does on your phone, since waking it up on Android Auto brought an array of listening controls. These controls also let the user temporarily pause the conversation, or stop it right away.

Since Google Live's UI for Android Auto is in the development stage, it's not certain whether this controls will be integrated when Gemini Live will eventually make it to vehicles in a full-fledged manner.
