iOS 18.2 release date
During the iPhone 16 event, Apple announced that the iOS 18.1 update will arrive in October. Though it didn’t mention a specific date if it follows the last few years’ timeline, it should come after October 20.
However, the tech giant released the previous public beta 2 updates, including iOS 17.2, iOS 16.2, and iOS 15.2 during the last week of October.
- iOS 17.2: October 26, 2023
- iOS 16.2: October 27, 2022
- iOS 15.2: October 27, 2021
Apple is likely to follow the same pattern again with iOS 18, meaning iOS 18.2 beta 1 might arrive within a few days of 18.1’s public release.
