Ignite approves DigiSkills 3.0: Free courses on AI, game development, more

In a move aimed at fostering a technological, entrepreneurial ecosystem on par with global standards, Ignite Ignite National Technology Fund board on Monday approved the DigiSkills 3.0 program offering 25 courses on Cloud Computing, AI, mobile app and game development, and many more.

The initiative is designed on its predecessor titled DigiSkills 2.0, which was based on 15 courses to teach to millions across Pakistan.

This time, the online training initiative DigiSkills is comprising 25 courses, designed to equip three million youth of the country with freelancing and digital literacy skills.

The 25 courses under the DigiSkills 3.0 program will be taught over the period of three years and six months, according to ProPakistani.

To ensure smooth execution of DigiSkills 3.0, the Ignite board has also allocated a considerable budget of around Rs1.79 billion.

The online learning program introduces ten new courses on top of the 15 delivered under the banner of DigiSkills 2.0. 

The new courses include UI/UX and Web Flow, 3D Modeling, Cloud Computing, Shopify Development & Drop Shipping, Artificial Intelligence using Python, Mobile Game and App Development, and Full Stack Development with MERN.

Regarding the program's focus on entrepreneurship, it's also containing a few courses on Startup Strategies and Entrepreneurship to provide valuable information and planning needed to establish and sustain one's own startup.
