
Vivo will be soon launching its new Y-series smartphone — the Vivo Y400 Pro 5G — in India. Recently, the brand teased the phone on X (formerly Twitter) and even made an event page on its official India website.
This mid-tier 5G phone is aimed to have an attractive design, strong display, quick charging, and smooth performance.

Previous leaks and official teaser posters reveal that the Vivo Y400 Pro 5G will have a 6.77-inch AMOLED curved screen that has a Full HD+ resolution with a 120 Hz refresh rate and outstanding 4,500 nits peak brightness. Users can expect a bright and smooth experience whether they are outdoors or indoors.
It is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, which provides great performance for everyday tasks as well as light gaming.
Moreover, this phone could also run on Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15, which includes new features and a new interface.
Vivo has confirmed the phone will have a dual rear camera, with one 50 MP Sony IMX882 main sensor and one 2 MP second camera.
There is expected to be a 32 MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The teaser has shown a white phone with a pill-shaped camera layout and ring LED flash.
The Vivo Y400 Pro 5G is rumoured to be 7.4 mm thick with a 5,500 mAh battery and rumoured to have 90 W fast charging support, which would be helpful for on the go.
The phone is expected to be available in white, gold, and nebula purple. There may be two choices of storage: 128GB and 256GB, both with 8GB of RAM.

The expected price will be around INR 25,000, which offers some potential in the mid-range 5G phone market.
