Although top-of-the-line iPhone models seem to be beyond facing performance lags or overheating issues, primarily owing to their hefty price tags and top-notch hardware and configurations, iPhone 16 users are reporting unresponsiveness during calls or while checking messages.

The alleged iPhone 16 issue is mostly occuring in the most expensive iPhone 16 Pro Max trim, leaving users who paid over Rs600,000, besides massive PTA taxes, in shock and frustration.

The purported issue with the iPhone 16 devices in Pakistan has drawn widespread outrage, particularly from users who splurged on Apple’s latest flagship.

As reported by ProPakistani, a recent survey conducted in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad brought to light that numerous buyers are struggling with this glitch, during which the iPhones freeze when a call comes in or when users attempt to read or respond to messages.

A frustrated customer in Islamabad lamented: “I bought the Pro Max thinking I was upgrading to the best, but it freezes at critical moments. I feel cheated.”

Complaints are flooding in from The Apple Shop at Star City Mall in Saddar, Karachi, where customers are left stranded with unresponsive devices.

Adding to the woes of iPhone 16 users is the lack of support from authorities, compounded with vendors denying responsibility, claiming they only import and sell brand-new devices.

Mercantile, the renowned iPhone distributor in Pakistan, has also been unhelpful, instructing users to factory reset their phones and then contact an Apple helpline which is officially not registered in the country.
